Our Mission.

The purpose of IGA is to provide year round training opportunities to goalkeepers of all levels in an effort to create an optimal environment which fosters individual development. IGA training programs allow for the technical, tactical, physical, and psychological qualities of the goalkeeper to be enhanced and refined through specialized, challenging, and age appropriate training. IGA director Gary Yohe works to develop hundreds of goalkeepers each year, from recreational to collegiate athletes. The IGA staff is committed to helping committed players realize their potential and reach their desired level of performance.

Testimonials

"We have been very pleased with Indiana Goalkeeper's Academy and highly recommend IGA and Gary Yohe to goalkeepers of all ages and skills. Gary, a college keeper himself, certainly has considerable experience to teach well the technical aspects of the position. He and his staff combine the technical with challenging and purposeful drills as well as very meaningful training in the mental aspects of this critical position. IGA provides high, ODP level training as well as training for young keepers and beginners. My daughter enjoys, but most certainly is challenged by, the elite level training she has received at IGA. And her individual improvement has been clear and significant. In my opinion Gary Yohe and his staff possess the full array of soccer knowledge to impart to keepers of all ages desiring to learn or improve on the complete art of goalkeeping."
Murray Clark, President, Indiana Soccer Association and father of U14 goalkeeper

"Avery has always had the desire and athletic ability to be in goal, but has lacked the proper technical part of the game. Gary has really helped in his methods and has helped given him the knowledge and training he needs to go to the next level. He now has the confidence to play against the elite players, and is looking forward to a college soccer career."
Randy Franklin, father of U18 Goalkeeper

"Keepers that are serious about improving their skills sets should train with Gary Yohe. Under his guidance, Courtney has learned the skills needed to be a competitive keeper. Gary's training methodology teaches keepers the correct way to perform the skill and gives them time to transfer the skill learned to their play under his guidance. Not only has Courtney learned the skills and is able to apply them, but she also has learned to play strategically. She has learned how to approach different plays, how to apply different techniques for the situation, and is mentally very strong in the position because she is confident in her skill. I believe that the training Gary has provided Courtney has helped her achieve sucess in playing the goal keeper position. Her sophmore year she was the starting goal keeper for her high school varsity team, she was ranked in the Top 20 IHSAA Keeper Rankings, and was nominated by her coach for MIC ALL Conference player. She is also the starting keeper for her MRL team. She has received many other awards and nominations that are a result of her training with Gary Yohe."
